Taken for a ride

The upholders of morality and social conduct were in for a rude shock when quite a number of buses with double berths were seized by the transport officials in the last few days.

With reports claiming that even persons of opposite sex were forced to sleep on adjoining berths, one was left wondering if there was anything left beyond lucre.

A million dollar question that popped up was as to how so many passengers put up silently with such a facility. Obviously they had no option as they were told to ‘take it or leave it’ and they did not mind a little circumvention from established code.
