Cycle rallies by pushcart vendors

Pushcart vendors commenced a four-day programme of cycle rallies in the city on Thursday demanding the Government to drop its plans to remove them from roadsides in the name of Bus Rapid Transport System, not to allow MNCs and other major organisations into retail trade and sanction of house sites and loans.

Former president of State CITU Ch. Narasinga Rao flagged off the rally at Jagadamba junction.
