Woman held for husband’s murder

NEW DELHI: A 35-year-old woman and two young men have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the murder of her husband at Khajuri Khas in North-East Delhi this past week. The woman lodged a complaint with the police alleging that her husband Ali Jan went missing on February 18 and the next morning his body was found at Shri Ram Colony. The police found that Ali had been strangled. Enquiries revealed that he was against his daughter marrying one Shibbu Khan, whom she and his wife liked. Suspecting their involvement, the police questioned the woman and Shibbu. During interrogation, they allegedly confessed to having murdered Ali.
