Humane gesture

Donations were received from two city-based philanthropists for children’s heart surgeries, Collector R.V.Chandravadan said on Thursday.

Lavanya of Aliabad saved money from household expenses and pooled up Rs.10,000 to donate for the cause, while the head of the V.V.R. Foundation V. Vasudeva Rao donated another cheque for Rs. one lakh, the Collector said.
