HYDERABAD: A magnificent temple of Lord Venkateswara reminding one of the Birla temple in the city and the one at Sanghi Nagar on the outskirts is being constructed at Gorlas Paradise, a township on the Medchal highway. The idol of the Lord will be installed on February 28. Designed by architect Ganapati Sthapati, famous for the Buddha statue in Hussainsagar, the temple is being constructed at a cost of Rs. 3 crore on a 2.5 acre site with the built up area being 27,500 sft. “The temple will be open to people from nearby villagers and residents of the gated community. We want everyone to experience the divine presence of the Lord,” according to Ravi Shanker Mudigonda, Director, Gorlas group. The temple project is conceived and completed as per the Vykahnasa Vyshnava Sampradayam. Mr. Ravi Shanker said that Gorlas Paradise is a 500-acre township comprising luxury villas, condominiums and a business park integrated seamlessly with nature.
