BIDAR: Three persons died and two were injured when a passenger vehicle (Tom Tom) in which they were travelling overturned near Mantala Cross on National Highway 9 in Basavakalyan taluk on Thursday. The police gave the names of the deceased as Pundalik Ekanath (35) of Mirazapur in Basavakalyan, Siddappa Pandurang (38) of Lenti in Gulbarga and Ambaray (25). The vehicle was proceeding to Gulbarga. The injured have been shifted to a hospital in Solapur. The Basavakalyan traffic police have registered a case. — Staff Correspondent
