Sangrur: Seven persons, including a man and his wife, were killed and four seriously injured when a car carrying them collided head on with a truck near village Channo on Sangrur-Patiala road late on Thursday night, police said. Most of the deceased and injured were family members and were on their way for delivery of a pregnant family member Inderjit Kaur. The deceased were identified as Inderjit Kaur, her husband Gurmail Singh, Sinder Kaur, Roop Singh, Sapinder Singh, driver Jaswinder Singh and Raju.
