Indefinite fast

Belgaum: The indefinite fast launched by activists of the Kannada Rakshana Vedike entered the second day on Friday. The district unit of KRV had launched the agitation to pressure Governor Rameshwar Thakur to resume development works in the district and start construction work on Suvarna Vidhana Soudha. KRV’s district President Rajeev Topannavar said development works in the district had come grinding halt following imposition of President’s Rule. — Staff Correspondent
