New feeder bus service

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation will start a new feeder bus service from the Pragati Maidan metro station from Saturday. The new service will cover Mayur Vihar Phase-II, Pocket C, Pocket A, Shopping Complex, Mother Diary, Laxmi Nagar, Vikas Marg, ITO, Tilak Bridge. Eight buses will run on this 10 km route with a frequency of about 10 minutes on an experimental basis, said a DMRC official.
In addition to this service, two special trips will also be run from the Pragati Maidan metro station to CGO Complex in the morning at 8-20 a.m. and 8-40 a.m. and from CGO Complex to Pragati Maidan in the evening at 5-50 p.m. and 6-10 p.m.
“At present, 55 feeder buses are already plying on seven different routes,” said the official.
