Sivaratri celebrations at Vadakkunathan temple

Thrissur: Various cultural programmes will be held at the Sree Vadakkunathan Temple here from February 26 as part of Shivaratri celebrations. Mandolin maestro U. Srinivas will inaugurate the celebrations. The following are the other programmes:

February 27: Odissi recital by Dona Ganguly

February 28: Kuchipudi by Alekhya

February 29: Carnatic vocal recital by Bombay Jayashree

March 1: ‘Thiruvilayadal’, Bharatanatyam ballet by Chenna Aradhana Troupe

March 2: Mohiniyattom by Pallavi Krishnan; Kathak by Rani Karna

March 4: Carnatic vocal recital by Sarath; March 5: presentation of the Kathakali play, ‘Kuchelavritham’
