Law and order good: Jaiswal

NAGAPATTINAM: The law and order situation in Tamil Nadu is good and the allegation made by AIADMK general secretary Jayalalithaa is not true, said Sriprakash Jaiswal, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs at Tarangampadi in the district on Friday.

Mr. Jaiswal was here to inaugurate tsunami rehabilitation projects of the Rajiv Gandhi National Relief and Welfare Trust for Tsunami Victims.

The Union Minister told mediapersons that Ms. Jayalalithaa’s allegations that the law and order situation in Tamil Nadu was deteriorating and LTTE activities were on the increase were not true.
