Government anti-labour: INTUC

Staff Reporter

KOCHI: Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) State president R. Chandrashekaran has said that ever since the CPI(M)-led government assumed office, the woes of the workers in the State have increased.

Addressing a press meet here on Friday to announce the State committee meeting of the organisation in Thrissur on Monday, he said the INTUC would decide on protest programmes against the government’s anti-labour policies at the meeting.

This would be the first State-level meeting after Mr. Chandrashekaran took charge.
