CC roads, power, school buildings will be taken up in Indiramma villages, says Minister G. Chinna Reddy MAHABUBNAGAR: Indiramma village committees here after would select the eligible beneficiaries for the allotment of houses and pensions said the Minister for Rural Development G. Chinna Reddy. Addressing a one-day training programme for village committee members here on Saturday Chinna Reddy requested the committee members to select the beneficiaries with coordination among them. He urged them not to give any room for complaints in the selection of beneficiaries. The Minister also informed that CC roads, internal roads, link roads, electricity, Anganwadi centres, school buildings would also be taken up in Indiramma villages. Rice schemeMr. Chinna Reddy further informed that government was taking all steps for re-launching the Rs.2 a-kilo rice scheme from April and yet another new scheme “Am Admi” insurance scheme from April 1 under which he said as many as 38,000 landless labour would be covered in the state. District Collector V. Usharani said that there was a great responsibility on the members of Indiramma village committee and informed that the list of beneficiaries selected by Indiramma village committee would be inspected by third party. She requested to select every eligible beneficiaries only. Mahabubnagar MLA Puli Veeranna, Kalwakurthy MLA Edma Kishta Reddy, Muncipal Chairperson Obedulla Kotwal also spoke. DRDA project director Narsimma Reddy, DM Housing Chandra Shekar explained about the selection process of beneficiaries under housing and pensions.
