Indiramma houses by May-end
Staff Reporter
VISAKHAPATNAM: Minister for Commercial Taxes Konathala Ramakrishna has called upon elected representatives to create awareness among villagers about the implementation of the third phase of the Indiramma scheme.
Addressing a meeting organised at Paderu on Saturday, he asked the MPTC s and ZPTC s to tell the villagers about pensions, Anganwadi Centres and houses to be sanctioned under the scheme.
A survey of the houses in the rural areas should be done by March 5. The third verification would be done during March and houses would be sanctioned to beneficiaries under the scheme by May-end.
Mr. Ramakrishna said that eligible persons who were left out during the first and second would be taken up during the third phase of survey. Cement would be supplied to beneficiaries of the Indiramma scheme through the GCC godowns.
