Maoists condemn encounter killing on AOB

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Communist Party of India (Maoist) has described the recent ‘encounter killing’ of Sudheer in Orissa as ‘murder’ by the Andhra Police.

Sudheer was arrested by the Andhra Police in Orissa State and killed after being subjected to torture, according to secretary of South Zone Committee of Andhra Orissa Border Bhaskar. The Parvathipuram Police had announced that a Maoist was killed in an encounter in the forest area of Bandagram village of Narayanapatnam Block of Koraput district in Orissa.
