Indian Bank qualifies

VADAKARA: Indian Bank, Chennai qualified for the super league after finishing third in the qualifying round of the National Volleyball League here on Friday night.

The bankmen defeated East Coast Railway 25-18, 25-21, 25-12 to join KSEB and Southern Railway for the super league.

KSEB, Thiruvananthapuram came first in the qualifiers after defeating Southern Railway, Chennai in a tough five setter. KSEB won 25-22, 25-27, 25-20, 24-26, 19-17.

KSEB, Thiruvananthapuram and Western Railway had qualified for the super league in the women’s section.
