Traffic advisory for BSP rally today

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Traffic Police have advised motorists to avoid Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, Jawaharlal Nehru Marg, Subhas Marg, Asaf Ali Road and Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday in view of a Bahujan Samaj Party rally at Ramlila Ground.

The commuters have been advised to resort to car-pooling or make use of Metro railway services to reduce congestion on roads and ensure safe and convenient journey.

Nearly 40,000 people from Delhi and neighbouring States are expected to take part in the rally. Buses and other vehicles of the participants will be parked at Velodrome Road near IGI Stadium, Mata Sundri College Road, MCD parking on Asif Ali Road, Raj Ghat and Shanti Van service road.
