Rice smuggling: public help sought

TIRUCHI: The district administration has initiated effective steps to check smuggling of ration rice and has urged the people to provide information to the officials to put an end to the same.
Surprise check of vehicles, night patrolling etc. are being done to check the crime. However the cooperation of the people is essential to put an end to the smuggling activities, a press release from Collector Ashish Vachhani said on Saturday.
