ADILABAD: Sixteen persons, including four children and five women, were killed and eight others were injured seriously in a ghastly road accident on Sunday involving a private passenger jeep and a chilli-laden lorry. The accident, which was attributed to the bad condition of the road, occurred near Bandam village on NH 7 in Neredigonda mandal that is known as an accident-prone spot.
