CUDDALORE: The Insurance Corporation Employees’ Union has constructed a community centre at the cost of Rs. 20 lakh at the tsunami-affected Killai near Chidambaram. It will be inaugurated on February 28, according to S. Raman, general secretary, and M. Shanmugham, vice-president of the union. They told reporters here that the community centre would be handed over to the Killai panchayat for maintenance.
