PUDUCHERRY: A 44-year-old worker, Murthi of Veerampattinam coastal village near here, was killed on Saturday night. According to police, the death was the result of a head injury when Murthi was hit with a soda bottle following a brawl at a liquor shop in Ariankuppam. A case has been registered against Rajamanickam, of Veerampattinam, on murder charges, the police said.
