Farmer ends life

Sirsi: Timmanna Parameshwar Bhagwat (46), an areca grower of Kanaknahalli in Ankola taluk, committed suicide by shooting himself with a gun on Friday at his house. He reportedly took about Rs. 9 lakh loan from different banks and could not repay it on time, sources said. He was also served a notice on cheque bounce case a fortnight ago. — Correspondent
