CUTTACK: The Orissa Judicial Academy organised a workshop on “cyber law and cyber forensic’ for the State judicial officers here on Sunday. Justice Arijit Pasayat of Supreme Court inaugurated the workshop that was attended among others by the Union Law and Justice Secretary T.K.Viswanathan. Challenges At least 300 judicial officers including district judges, chief judicial magistrates and sub-divisional judicial magistrates attended the day-long workshop, which was held in two sessions. “Looking at the spurt in cyber crime in the country and the challenges faced by the judicial officers to officiate over such crimes, it was imperative to hold such a workshop”, said the state judicial academy director B P Parija.
