Chief Minister shocked over high toll in accidents

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy has expressed deep anguish at the high number of deaths in road accidents across the State on Sunday.

In a statement issued here, Dr. Reddy expressed shock over the death of some 30 persons in accidents in Visakhapatnam, Adilabad, Kadapa and Krishna districts.

He directed the district Collectors to provide adequate medical aid to the victims. He also sought detailed reports within 24 hours from the respective districts.
