Bomb hurled at MTNL employee’s house

NEW DELHI: Some unidentified assailants hurled a crude bomb at the residence of a MTNL employee at Jafarpur Kalan around midnight on Saturday night.

However, no one was injured.

The incident took place around 12-30 a.m. when Rajender Dagar and his family were asleep.

They and their neighbours were woken up by the sound of an explosion around midnight.

When Rajender came out, he found small iron pieces scattered on the floor.

The police have registered a case against unknown people and are trying to identify the culprits. The complainant has alleged that it could be the handiwork of those who had robbed him a few weeks ago.
