HYDERABAD: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president K. Chandrasekhar Rao and his party MPs, MLAs and MLCs left here for Delhi on Sunday evening ahead of the budget session of Parliament commencing on Monday. Mr. Rao and three MPs of TRS have announced their decision to submit their resignations during the Lok Sabha proceedings on March 3 in protest against the delay in granting Statehood to Telangana. The MLAs will do the same here in the Assembly on March 4 and the MLCs in the Legislative Council on March 5. The TRS would move a notice for adjournment motion to discuss the demand of separate Telangana in the Lok Sabha on February 28. A day before submitting resignations in the Lok Sabha, the party would organise a demonstration at Jantar Mantar in the national capital to focus the demand. Mr. Rao offered prayers to the statue of Telangana thalli at the TRS office before the team left for Delhi. Talking to reporters, he said the party would protest during the President’s address to the joint session of Parliament on Monday.
