THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The city Traffic Police have imposed restrictions on movement of vehicles on select routes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday in view of the Raj Bhavan march by the DYFI. The curbs will be in force at Palayam, Asan Square, Museum, Vellayambalam and Kowdiar. Vehicles coming from Nedumangad and bound for Thampanoor will be diverted through Peroorkada, Oolampara, Sasthamangalam, Kochar Road, Edappazhanjy, Sri Moolam Club, Vazhuthacaud and Xanadu. Motorists coming from the National Highway and MC Road are directed to proceeed through Paruthipara, Muttada, Ambalamukku, Sasthamangalam, Kochar Road, Idappazhanjy, Sri Moolam Club and Xanadu to Thampanoor. Vehicles bound for Kesavadasapuram and Ulloor from Thampanoor are to go through Bakery Junction, Underpass, Asan Square, PMG junction and Pattom while those from East Fort to Ulloor and Kesavadasapuram will be diverted through Statue, General Hospital junction, Pattoor, Pallimukku, Kannamoola and Medical College. Vehicles transporting DYFI workers for the Raj Bhavan march are directed to park by the side of the Chackai-Eenchakkal bypass after offloading passengers at designated points.
