KOCHI: A delegation from China headed by Flora Tian, China General Representative, India China Economic and Cultural Council, visited Coir Board on Monday and held discussions with senior officials. P. Ajith Kumar, Joint Director, and other officers of the board received the delegation at Coir Board headquarters in the city. Joan Huang, Commercial Representative of the council was also part of the delegation which visited coir producing centres in Alappuzha and Trikunnapuzha also. The Chinese delegation attended a meeting at Coir Board office in which various matters connected with the development of coir industry in China were discussed. A presentation depicting various facets of the coir industry was made before the team.
