Cooperative bodies to help kidney patients

MALAPPURAM: The Kidney Patients Welfare Society, functioning under the aegis of the district panchayat, will expand its activities by tying up with cooperative institutions in the district. The society has been offering dialysis facilities to poor kidney transplant patients with the help of donations.

The district-level inauguration of the tie-up with cooperative banks will take place on Tuesday afternoon when Malappuram District Service Bank gives its share of donation to the society. — Staff Reporter
