Jute mill workers seek wage revision

VIZIANAGARAM: Workers of Navya and Jyothi Jute Mills, Bobbili, affiliated to CITU, staged a protest at the Collector’s office here on Monday demanding wage revision in tune with the spiralling prices of essential commodities. The workers of both the jute mills have been on strike since February 12 and they appealed to Collector to interfere in the matter.

A. Srinivasa Rao and Reddy Venu, president and general secretary of the mill workers’ union submitted a memorandum to P.A. Sobha, DRO at the grievances cell.
