Varanasi: Veteran freedom fighter, socialist leader and advocate Sagar Singh died at a hospital here on Sunday. He was 89. An associate of Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya, Jai Prakash Narayan and Raj Narain, Singh was jailed several times during the freedom struggle. He was former president of Banaras Bar Association and member of the All-India Trade Union Congress.
