Proposals

K. Ramakoteswara Rao, convener, Andhra Pradesh State unit of UFBU, in a statement said the proposals included considering to extend one more option of pension to the remaining employees who are under contributory provident fund.

The other proposals were re-consideration by the Government of the pension scheme for the staff recruited between November 1, 1993 and September 28, 1995, restoration of compassionate appointment scheme, discussions with the Indian Banks Association on outsourcing and bilateral negotiations on wage revision.

According to the statement, both the parties stuck to their respective stands on recruitment and merger of public sector banks.
