‘YSR treading Ambedkar path’

HYDERABAD: D. K. Aruna (Samajwadi Party) heaped praise on Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy saying he is treading the path of Ambedkar by taking several initiatives to improve the lot of the poor.

Initiating debate on the budget in the Assembly on Monday, she cited various schemes launched by the Rajasekhara Reddy Government in support of her argument, including full re-imbursement of tuition fee in case of SC/STs, BCs and Minorities. She particularly mentioned about the medicare offered at corporate hospitals under Arogyasri to the poor.

She lauded the Chief Minister for ensuring high allocations in the budget for agriculture.She sought a university at Gadwal as it would pave way for development of four Assembly constituency areas in Mahabubnagar district.
