This Day That Age
Dr. Arturo Frondizi, Radical, who has promised to restore the civil rights of Peronistas, on February 24 won an overwhelming victory in Argentina’s Presidential election. In a broadcast, Dr. Frondizi said he would carry out his election promises, which also included a pledge to the Church not to impose the controversial divorce law sponsored by Peron. He said he would choose for his administration honest and capable men irrespective of the party they belonged to.
