Good knock by Prashanth

BANGALORE: Prashanth scored an unbeaten 88 and steered Johnson CC to a two-wicket win over Vasanth Nagar CC in the KSCA fifth division (Group I) league match on Sunday.

The scores:

Coles 220 in 44.3 overs (Sujith 53, S. Karan 57, D. Santhosh five for 56) lost to Young Lions 221 for four in 30 overs (Vasanth 56).

Dooravani Cricketers (2) 278 in 49 overs (Darshan 57, Raghavendra 42, Shoaib Syed four for 74) bt Bowlers 154 in 36.4 overs.

Merchants (2) 117 in 40.1 overs (Jagadeesh five for 21 ) lost to United 118 for four in 26.2 overs (Santhosh 42 not out, Nikhil four for 30).

Diamond 169 in 38 overs (Lakshminarayan four for 47) lost to Vijaya, Malur 170 for six in 22.2 overs.

Vasanth Nagar 244 in 49.3 overs (Shahid 65, Shreyas four for 56) lost to Johnson 247 for eight in 48.2 overs (Prashanth 88 not out).
