A carnival of stories

Special Correspondent

Bangalore: Hippocampus is organising a day-long narration of stories, “Hoo’s Tales,” at Bal Bhavan in Cubbon Park on March 1.

There will be about 30 performances throughout the day in English and Kannada with storytellers, theatre artistes, mimes, puppeteers and ventriloquists participating in it, targeted at children aged between five and 12 years. The event will be held between 10.30 a.m. and 6 p.m..

Each performance, for which the entry is free, is scheduled for about 20 minutes and there will be two to three performances happening at any given point.

While the day-long carnival is open to all children (and their parents) the performances are ideal for the classes 1 to 6. To know more about the event visit www.hippocampus.in
