Mayor meets team from Texas

CHENNAI: Mayor M. Subramanian met a delegation from San Antonio in Texas, United States of America, at the Ripon Buildings here on Monday.

San Antonio Mayor Phil Hardberger led the team, which which consisted of 11 delegates. Mr. Phil Hardberger said that the meeting had a noble objective of fostering friendly relations between the two cities.

Mr. Subramanian gave Mr. Hardberger a memento which had the image of the national bird, peacock, embossed on it.

Commissioner Rajesh Lakhoni and Deputy Mayor R. Sathyabama also participated.
