Karunanidhi leaves for Dharmapuri

CHENNAI: Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi on Monday night left by train for Dharmapuri to participate in two government functions slated for Tuesday. In the morning, he will lay the foundation stone for the Rs.1,330-crore Hogenekkal combined water supply scheme at a function to be held on the Government College campus, Dharmapuri, and in the evening, he will declare open the new building for the Krishnagiri Collector’s office at Payanapalli in Krishnagiri. The Chief Minister is expected to return to Chennai by road on Tuesday night. — Special Correspondent
