TDP MLAs take out rally

HYDERABAD: Soon after their suspension from the Assembly, the Telugu Desam MLAs took out a rally to B. R. Ambedkar’s statue and performed ‘ksheera abhishekam’ (bathing with milk ) to protest the “reprehensible remarks” made by Congress MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar against the architect of the Constitution.

Later, party chief N. Chandrababu Naidu and the legislators drove down to a social welfare hostel at Nimboliadda and were appalled to find poor facilities for the inmates. At a press conference earlier, Mr. Naidu found fault with Mr. Arun Kumar for making disparaging remarks against Dr. Ambedkar. ”.
