Kids CC crushes SBT ‘B’

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Cycle Brand Kids CC crushed State Bank of Travancore ‘B’ by eight wickets in the Canara Bank-TDCA ‘A’ division cricket league at the Medical College ground here on Monday.

Batting first, SBT ‘B’ despite an unbeaten 89 by Nandakumar could only muster 186 runs in 38 overs. Half-centuries from Santu Jose (84 n.o.) and Sajan Salim (65) saw Kids CC cruise to victory in the 28th over.

The scores: SBT ‘B’ 186 in 37.2 overs (Nandakumar 89 n.o., G.S. Anoop five for 52) lost to Cycle Brand Kids CC 187 for two in 27.1 overs (Santu Jose 84 n.o., Sajan Salim 65).
