Eight arrested

NEW DELHI: Eight persons, including two minors, were arrested in different parts of South Delhi this past week on charges of auto-theft and bootlegging.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team conducted a raid in Sangam Vihar and arrested Mohammed Salim on Wednesday. His three accomplices – Megh Raj, Sanjay and Rajesh -- were arrested later at his instance.

In another case, four persons were arrested with six stolen auto-rickshaws and 336 quarters of illicit liquor at Green Park.
