Robbed at gunpoint

NEW DELHI: Four unidentified young men took the family of a businessman hostage at gun-point and made off with cash and jewellery at Shahdara here over the weekend.

The incident took place around 7-30 p.m. when the armed culprits a forcibly entered the house in Navin Shahdara on Sunday and took 52-year-old Lata Bansal and her two teenage daughters hostage. The young men broke open the cupboards and made off with over Rs.3 lakh in cash besides gold and silver ornaments.
