Show of solidarity by lawyers

Long-standing demand: Lawyers staging a dharna in front of the court complex at Vanchiyoor demanding a High Court Bench in Thiruvananthapuram. –

The members of the Thiruvananthapuram Bar Association are a determined lot.

The ongoing agitation for the setting up of a High Court Bench in the capital city has provided a common cause for the legal fraternity to fight for.

Adding momentum to their indefinite satyagraha in front of the Vanchiyoor court complex is the solidarity expressed by the members of the Kollam Bar Association with the agitation.

What is more, government pleaders and public prosecutors have joined the stir for the first time.
