A bridge too far

The Railway Budget’s new trains and coach factory are of little comfort to the city has to live with the yet-unfinished Pullepady and Edappally overbridges.

The city’ dreams of big investments in the IT and shipping sector currently hangs on building good road infrastructure.

The budget would definitely draw a comparison with what former Minister of State for Railways O. Rajagopal had done in clearing the road infrastructure bottleneck throughout the State with a number of rail overbridges.
