Against the ‘call-a-hartal’ syndrome
Member of Parliament Abullahkutty’s statement that hartal was a pointless form of agitation and that it was high time the political fronts in the State put their heads together to find better modes of protest, found favour with the Kerala Anti-Hartal Campaign Committee, according to its convener Khalid Mundampilly. a campaign to end the trend to resort to hartals at the drop of a hat.
