Newspaper edition launched

BERHAMPUR: The Berhampur edition of the Oriya newspaper, The Samaja, was inaugurated by Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik, at a function held in the city on Tuesday. It was the seventh edition of the newspaper. Established in 1919 by the noted social reformer and freedom fighter, Gopabandhu Das, this newspaper had played a major role in the freedom movement in Orissa. The Samaja would inaugurate its eighth edition in Balasore on Wednesday.
