Girl found dead

VIZIANAGARAM: A four-year-old girl, Bhavirisetti Gita, was found dead in a water tank in an abandoned house at Dharmapuri village, near here, late on Monday night.

According to D. Srihari Raju, Circle Inspector (Rural), Battula Seshaiah, 28, reportedly took the girl with a sexual motive to the abandoned house around 4 p.m. On questioning, Seshaiah led her parents and some villagers to the water tank. The Circle Inspector while ruling out rape said that post-mortem report however would reveal the fact. Superintendent of Police Vikram Singh Mann visited the village on Tuesday.
