Special Correspondent
PANAJI: The Sixth Pay Commission is supposed to finalise its report by April 4, within 18 months of its constitution. In a written reply, Union Minister of State for Finance Pawan Kumar Bansal informed Shantaram Naik in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday that the time-frame for its implementation could not be stated before the report was submitted.
The Minister has said that the commission, among others, will make recommendations for transforming the Central Government organisations into modern, professional and citizen-friendly entities.
