PALAKKAD: A dharna organised by the Ayurveda Action Council in front of the Collectorate was inaugurated by district panchayat president Subida Ishaq here on Tuesday. The doctors were protesting against the neglect of ayurveda by the State government. They demanded similar salary and other benefits as given to doctors of modern medicine. The meeting was presided over by action council chairman Dinesh. — Staff Reporter
