‘High Court Bench in capital not practical’
Kochi: Kerala High Court Chief Justice H.L. Dattu said on Tuesday that the Full Court of the High Court had only reiterated its earlier decision that it was “not practical and feasible” to set up a High Court Bench in Thiruvananthapuram.
The Chief Justice said that it was not for the first time that the Full Court had decided against setting up the Bench in Thiruvananthapuram. A Full Court meeting held during the tenure of Justice K.T. Thomas as Acting Chief Justice had taken the decision. The decision was later reaffirmed during the tenure of N.K. Sodhi as Chief Justice.
